What's On

Teddy Bears' Picnic

Join us for the Teddy Bears' picnic this coming Saturday - it's going to be a fantastic, action and fun-filled event!

Rendlesham Community Radio will be broadcasting live from their stage in Jubilee Park from 8am and will continue throughout the day - lots of special guests including Harry Isaac Presley and The HIP Operation and many more.

They will also be organising some silly games and dances throughout the afternoon (with some awesome Rendlesham Commmunity Radio branded prizes up for grabs.)

Our life-size bears will be there to meet and greet from 12.30 pm and Chris the Clown will be entertaining with bubbles and magic.

In addition to all this, there will be a children's ride, popcorn, candyfloss, donuts, sweets, cold drinks and ice-creams for sale. Plus an Usborne book stall and our very own Hedgehog lady, Sue Gower will be there selling all things hoggy.

Look out for an awesome giant balloon arch as you arrive!

Feel free to join us for live radio fun from 8am in the morning with Glenn's breakfast show, followed by Leanda's 'Something for the Weekend at 10am. Steve Calver and Izaak De May take over the mic at 12pm and will be joined by the other presenters on stage until Denise Law cranks it up at 5.30 with 'A Northern Soul'. Vic Proctor will be on the radio mic chatting to our visitors as they kick back and enjoy a fantastic day of entertainment.
