It’s back! Santa Claus and his magnificent sleigh filled with festive chocolate coins, jingle bells, twinkly lights, Christmas tunes and cheer.. Who’s excited?

Coming to a road near you on Sunday 15th December during the day to allow extra time for our Rendlesham Residents 10:00 - 17:00, Rendlesham welcomes back a very special visitor and his little helpers for our annual 'Santa's Grand Tour'.

Glenn Knights from Rendlesham Radio will be filling your ears with festive classics on our merry way around the village.

We don't want any child to miss out on a treat from Santa because of food intolerances so we have asked him to put a few treats in that do not include nuts, gluten, egg or diary in his sack of goodies. If you have a child with an intolerance, please advise one of the elf team who will be happy to give an alternative chocolate treat for your little one.

There is no need to book, simply follow the map attached below to find your closest Santa check point and follow the live link **which will be available on the day** to keep track of Santa's progress around the village. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we cannot take instructions prior to the event to deliver to specific addresses.

We will be reversing the route from the last 2 years.

ROUTE A:

16:05 - 16:15 stopping on Knight Road (opposite Ashton Close) (SANTA STOP 1)

16:20 – 16:25 stopping on Mayhew Road (opposite Harvey Way) (SANTA STOP 2)

16:30 – 16:40 stopping on Mayhew Road (opposite the halfway junction between Jubilee Park entrance and Tidy Road) (SANTA STOP 3)

16:45 – 16:50 stopping on Sycamore Drive (opposite Aspen Court) (SANTA STOP 4)

16:55 – 17:00pm stopping on Maple Close/Forest Gardens Entrance (SANTA STOP 5)

17:05 – 17:10 stopping on Acer Road (opposite Forest Court Gates, No’s 28-30) (SANTA STOP 6)

17:15 – 17:20 stopping on Suffolk Drive (opposite central entrance) (SANTA STOP 7)

17:25 – 17:30 stopping on Fountain Road (opposite Park Close) (SANTA STOP 8)

17:35 – 17:40 stopping on Fountain Road (opposite Abbey Close) (SANTA STOP 9)

18:00 – 18:15 Acer Road (Care Home) (SANTA STOP 11)

***Stretch with Suffolk Tractor Light Parade at approximately 18:00 starting outside Rendlesham Care Centre, along Acer Road to Sycamore Drive junction near the giant Oak Tree where Santa and his team of helpers will have a short break before heading out again for Route B around Rendlesham (Tractors will resume on their route)***

18:35 -18:40 stopping on Redwald Road (opposite Sparrows Croft Road) (SANTA STOP 12)

18.45 - 18:50 stopping on Redwald Road (opposite Jays Croft Road junction) (SANTA STOP 13)

18:55 - 19:00 stopping on Spencer Road (halfway down the road) (SANTA STOP 14)

*** Santa and Sleigh will be travelling the remainder of Redwald Road by Sleigh and meet his team of helpers at the next stop ***

19:15 – 19:25 stopping on Hazel Close (halfway down the road) (SANTA STOP 15)

19:30 – 19:35 stopping on Wackerfield Road (opposite Elm Close) (SANTA STOP 16)

19:40 – 19:45 stopping on Cedar Road (at the Green past Chestnut Close junction) (SANTA STOP 17)

*** Santa and Sleigh will be travel back along Acer Road by Sleigh and meet his team of helpers at the next stop at Crooked Creek***
