The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a funding mechanism that allows local planning authorities to raise money from new developments to support local infrastructure. A proportion of CIL income is passed to parish councils, who may use it to support improvements that benefit the local area.
Below is a list of CIL-funded project priorities approved by Rendlesham Parish Council. Items marked with an asterisk (*) have been approved with quotes received.

Members of the public are welcome to suggest new ideas for local infrastructure projects that may be suitable for CIL funding. This list is reviewed at every Full Council meeting, which the public are invited to attend.
Alternatively, suggestions can be emailed to the Clerk at clerk@rendleshampc.org.uk. If the proposal falls within the scope of CIL spending rules, it will be circulated to councillors for consideration.
