The IT Committee supports the strategic oversight and maintenance of digital systems used across the Parish Council, the Community Centre, and Jubilee Park. Its role is to ensure these systems are secure, reliable, and appropriate for delivering public services and council operations.

Committee members are appointed annually by Full Council. Non-councillors may be invited to advise in a non-voting capacity when appropriate.
Responsibilities
The IT Committee oversees all aspects of IT infrastructure and digital governance. This includes cloud services, telephony, cybersecurity, websites, and equipment. It also advises on upgrades, vendor contracts, public Wi-Fi services, and staff or councillor training needs.

Meetings
The committee meets at least twice a year, and more often as needed for project oversight or urgent technical matters. All meetings are publicly noticed and minuted. It operates with a quorum of three voting members and follows the Council’s Standing Orders.
