Make'n'Natter a Poppy for our Display

Published: 20 October 2021

If you're feeling left out of the push to help mark the anniversary of 100 years of the British Legion simply because you can't knit or crochet, please don't be...

Colour Sergeant JANE BULTZ has kindly stepped forward to host a Making'n'Nattering craft group on Thursday 4th November, 1.30pm in Room 16 at the Community Centre.

You might not know how to knit or crochet at all (yet). You might only be able to knit squares for blankets. You might not feel very confident about reading a pattern. Or you might be really a experienced wool-wrangler and just want some company whilst you click those needles, or weave those hooks.

Whatever category you fall into, we'll supply the wool, the pattern, the biscuits. Jane will supply the know-how. You just have to bring your fingers and a will to create!

Please email to book your "nattering" seat. Job's a good 'un!

If you want to bring your own wool-wrangling accoutrement, you'll need size 4 knitting needles and 3mm crochet hooks. But we will provide if you tell us what you need...

Looking forward to it. Kettle's on!
